Crushing: Jennifer Lawrence

My girl crush on Jennifer Lawrence started when I saw her in the movie Winters Bone. It then turned into full blown obsession when I saw her walk the red carpet at the 2011 Oscars wearing that gorgeous red Calvin Klein collection dress. Ok well actually, before obsession there was jealousy and rage. I mean not only is she young and a phenomenal actress but she is also stunningly beautiful with a killer bod...if that doesn't spark some sort of split second feelings of jealousy and rage in you, then your an alien.
Flash forward to last week after my semester ended and when I decided to give in to all the hype and start reading the Hunger Games. The second I started reading the books I was hooked. The second I saw that there is going to be a movie with Jennifer Lawrence playing main character Katniss, I almost cried I was so happy. Not only am I looking forward to seeing some of my favorite books come to life and Jennifer Lawrence in action, but I also cant wait to see what she wears to the movie premiers. With my total nerd obsession with the books and major girl crush, I think its safe to say you will be seeing a lot more of her in future posts.

PARTY TIME with Mira Mira, Rue Magazine and Photobooth!

Last week Photobooth teamed up with Mira Mira and Rue Magazine to throw an amazing party filled with all of SF's favorite fashionistas. The party included all my favorite things...Drinks, music, Sweet treats, live colored polaroids, My favorite fashionable people and best of all SHOPPING! Mira Mira not only set up a pop up shop but was also handing out styling tips. I was lucky enough to be a part of the event by being a live mannequin. My duties included wearing an amazing outfit styled by Mira herself, taking polaroids of the guests and socializing. Um can we say BEST JOB EVER! I was also lucky enough to do the job with two of my best friends Sally and Kalisha which was pretty much the icing on the cake. Here are some pictures of the event...
Full House!

My Sparkly outfit. When I wasn't socializing I was standing on this box. My one night to be tall!

Loved To Death

I think I mentioned in an earlier post that I LOVE this skirt. However, I failed to mention that my favorite top to pair it with is a graphic tee from Chaser, and in this case it's my favorite Megadeath one. I have worn the shit crap out of this shirt. I have started to collect these Chaser shirts like they are pogs, and really have no intention of stopping. They could possibly be the best graphic tee EVER. I blame Mira (owner of Mira Mira aka where this whole outfit came from) for this obsession. Her store always has a new selection of  these shirts and if I don't pounce and buy them when they first come in I am sure to miss out...and I hate missing out!
The fur coat combo kinda happened on accident. I brought it to shoot with a different outfit in mind but ended up throwing it on because it was freezing. After seeing a few shots of it paired with this outfit I fell in love. It kind of reminds me of Kate Hudson in Almost Famous if she, instead of being a flower loving hippy, hung out in the mission and drank PBR. Bad ass shirt + girly silk Sheer flower skirt = awesome right? I think so.

Crushing: Julia Sarr-Jamois

If you read street style and fashion blogs then you have definitely seen and herd of Julia Sarr-Jamois. The 24 year old fashion editor for Wonderland Magazine is pretty much amazing wrapped up in adorable. Combine her crazy cool hair and stunning beauty with the fact that her style is to die for and the result is one big girl crush. If she was my real life friend I would live in her closet, but for now I will just have to stalk her on the internet and look to her for inspiration. Kinda the same thing.
